International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)

The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) is a labor union representing over 360,000 full-time professional fire fighters and emergency medical workers in 3,500 affiliates across the United States and Canada. The IAFF is committed to advancing the rights, safety, and future of its members. They advocate for issues such as safety and protection, pay and benefits, collective bargaining, cancer presumptive health, and securing minimum staffing. The IAFF also provides extensive training programs, including fire ground survival, HazMat, wildfire, and behavioral health. They organize events like the Strive for Excellence Summit and U.S. Legislative Conference, and work to support politicians and policies that protect and empower fire fighters and emergency medical workers.
